Richie Webb

Richie Webb is a three-headed beast. An actor, an award winning comedy writer, and a composer. Occasionally all three heads work together - such as on his hit BBC Radio 4 series of 15 Minute Musicals - which won the 2009 Writers’ Guild Best Radio Comedy Award - but more often than not, they work seperately or in pairs.

He has contributed in some way to a huge number of TV and Radio shows (Armstrong and Miller, That Mitchell and Webb Look, Mongrels, Dead Ringers) as well as being very prolific in the world of children’s television (Horrible Histories, My Almost Famous Family, Bamzooki, Jackanory, Bear Behaving Badly, Ed and Oucho’s Excellent Inventions). Past glories that he still goes on about include composing the songs for Goodness Gracious Me, performing live comedy every Saturday morning for two years on Live and Kicking, and being the ‘funny musical one’ in legendary Radio 4 sketch troupe The Cheese Shop.

He has also written and produced Top Dog's first radio commission -The Music Teacher - a six part comedy for BBC Radio 4.
