Mr Muzak - in the studio

Recording has taken place of Richie Webb's new Radio 4 sitcom Mr Muzak. Two episodes have been commissioned by Radio 4 for the Sunday evening comedy slot. The show is a spin-off from Richie's successful late night comedy The Music Teacher and features the continuing adventures of performance shy cocktail pianist Nigel Penny.

Hobbby Bobbies mic frenzy

I'm blogging because for this series we (and by 'we' I mean me, Richie Webb, Sinead Keenan, Chris Emmett, Pooja Shah, and ... wait, what was the guy's name, oh yeah, NODDY HOLDER!), we were indulged not only by a great studio audience at the Drill Hall, and 4 tightly wrought scripts from Dave, but - be still my beating heart - a microphone EACH supplied by Jerry the Outside Broadcast genius.

Hobby Bobbies 2 - tickets

Richie and Nick will  be starring as useless PCSO's Geoff and Nigel in the second series of Dave Lamb's Radio 4 sitcom 'Hobby Bobbies'. The show - produced by Steve Doherty - will once again feature Noddy Holder as Geoff's Dad and will see Sinead Keenan and Chris Emmett reprise their roles as The Guv and Bernie the cafe owner.

Big Heart - Big Record

Three days in the studio with Richard Tyrone Jones has netted three episodes of the brand new spoken word sitcom, Big Heart. Following heart failure on his 30th birthday, we follow the eponymous Richard as he learns to live with this new normal, and work out just how hard he can push his life before his implanted cardioverter defibrillator electrocutes his heart.
