Mr Muzak - in the studio

Recording has taken place of Richie Webb's new Radio 4 sitcom Mr Muzak. Two episodes have been commissioned by Radio 4 for the Sunday evening comedy slot. The show is a spin-off from Richie's successful late night comedy The Music Teacher and features the continuing adventures of performance shy cocktail pianist Nigel Penny.

Rum Bunch on air

The first of four Rum Bunch episodes hits the airwaves on 3rd May at 6.30 as Justin Edwards tries his best to control Mel Giedroyc and David Mounfield as they team up for a gleeful half hour of sketches and musical comedy. The show features a glorious array of sketches and music courtesy of the show's very own house band - Jason Hazeley on piano and David Reed of The Penny Dreadfuls on drums.

Half Time pilot

Top Dog has been filming a tv pilot called 'Half Time' which is a project that has been bubbling under for many years. It's a comedy drama about two commentators at the small but heroic non-league club Bromsfield Town. Ben is the seasoned commentator trying to resurrect his career after a catastrophic panic attack during an FA cup final while commentating for the BBC.

The Music Teacher - series 3 repeat

The third series of Richie Webb's musical comedy The Music Teacher is being repeated on Radio 4 at 11:15pm from Wednesday 1st April 2015. The show stars Richie as hapless peripatetic teacher Nigel Penny - forever stuck in a windowless practice room in a West Midlands Arts Centre - and Vicki Pepperdine as neurotic Arts Centre director Belinda.
